Dr. Jill Palko is a board-certified physician with over 12 years of clinical experience, proving she has definitely seen it all. Growing up in a small town outside the Chicago area, she always wanted to be a doctor. She achieved this dream by attending medical school in Chicago and completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in Cleveland, Ohio—a journey that required both brains and a very sturdy winter coat. After initially moving back to the Chicago area to begin her career, she eventually grew tired of the long winters and relocated to the sun-soaked shores of Southwest Florida. Throughout her career, she has provided compassionate care to patients from all walks of life across a variety of clinical settings. This extensive career at the bedside has become the driving force behind her work as a medical writer, where she strives to bridge the gap between complex medical information and clear, accurate communication for all audiences. Driven by a passion for innovation, she is currently expanding her expertise in the AI sector through advanced certification. She is deeply committed to leveraging emerging technologies to improve healthcare delivery and expanding access to care for women everywhere. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is an avid traveler who has explored destinations ranging from Iceland to Thailand and Egypt. When she isn't off exploring the globe, you can find her trying new cuisines, diving into a captivating documentary, or loyally cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams.
